To validate my findings, I ordered a 4lb and 4.5lb FP (striker) spring (cost is $3.45 each) and a reduced power FP safety plunger spring (cost is $2.95) from Ghost. It is crticial that any spring that returns the plunger to its downward position after shots are fired. If the plunger spring has to push a rough plunger through a dirty channel then a reduced power spring is probably not a great idea.
