What's worked for me is as soon as i find one ore, I get it smelted, and turn it into 2 or 3 ingots. I use one to make a teleport pad, and one to make a charm of allthemodium sight. I then go to the mining dimension, and create a mine at y level 30. Turn on the charm, and it makes for easy allthemodium gathering. I've found plenty of allthemodium in the mining dim, but i've been using a chunk destroyer to clear out a bunch of space in the nether and the other but I haven't found any vibranium in any of the three dimensions.
